Flory Oppenheimer
This Identity card was hidden behind a fireplace in Flat 47 of Taymount Grange, London, found in May 2023. Little is known about Flory but possibly one of Taymount’s earliest residents. Assume that Flory was lucky enough to get out of Germany before World War 2 began.
Whether she lived or worked at Taymount Grange, she clearly felt she must conceal her true identity as a Jewish German.
If anyone can shed any other light on this story, please do get in touch.
